I have always been intrigued by how much the body is capable of enduring and the evolution of the body throughout various processes, i.e. yoga, free diving, martial arts, weight lifting, or the body healing itself.
The older I get, the more I realize there are no real limitations when it comes to the mind/body. The only limitations are the ones we impose on ourselves. Somewhere in the interplay between mind and body, I believe we are capable of a limitless life. There are simply no boundaries to what the mind and body can do when this "cross-over" exists.
Throughout this series, I am capturing the body bare, illuminating the lines and negative space the body creates through all the bends, flexes, curves, etc.
I believe that this energyis “seen” in the body, not at its height of peak performance but in the stillness of preparation.
“There is something fundamentally fascinating about the mechanics, i guess, of the human body and where consciousness and mind exist, and what you can do with the mechanics of the body while keeping those intact, and where those two cross over.”
